Over the past few months, many people have transitioned to telecommuting to comply with the Stay Home order to help slow the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus).  Many others, who are essential workers, continued to report to their jobs to ensure that critical public health, safety, infrastructure and governmental functions carry on.

We want to take a moment to thank all of the dedicated essential workers that are keeping Maryland safe and functioning. We see you. We appreciate you. Thank you from all of us at Azrael Franz.

Since they do not always get recognized, we  would specifically like to thank courthouse employees that continue to work to protect our safety and the rights of litigants and the public. With a limited staff “in the office,” they have been processing emergency matters, including domestic violence petitions, family law emergencies, protective orders, bail reviews, juvenile detention hearings and search warrants.   Others are handling estates and related matters.
