John R. Solter, Jr. is an integral member of AFSL’s commercial litigation, wrongful death and personal injury departments. He represents businesses and individuals in a variety of matters, including wrongful death cases, complex personal injuries, fraud, contract disputes, employment disputes, contests involving wills and estates, and real estate disputes. Mr. Solter also provides counsel to clients in business and real estate matters, and has substantial experience handling creditors’ rights issues for banks, SBA lenders and leasing companies.
John’s litigation and trial practice focuses on helping victims of negligence, including car accidents, tire failures, airplane disasters, negligent security, slip and fall accidents, dog bites, and other types of personal injury cases. John also routinely represents victims of criminal acts, including drunk driving, fraud, murder, assault and other intentional or reckless crimes.
John fights for the rights of the most seriously injured people throughout Maryland. He vigorously pursues every client’s case with one goal: to fairly compensate you for your injuries and losses.
John is a graduate of the University of North Carolina (B.A.); University of Baltimore School of Law (J.D. magna cum laude, Heuisler Honor Society); and University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business (M.B.A.). After law school, John served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable E. Stephen Derby, United States Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Maryland and was an associate for a large Baltimore-area law firm. Born Towson, Maryland 1975, admitted to Bar 2002, Court of Appeals of Maryland, United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
