Partner Paul Schwab Elected President of BCPL Board of Trustees

On January 12, 2016, AFSL Partner Paul Schwab was elected President of the Board of Trustees of the Baltimore County Public Library.

The attorneys and staff at Azrael, Franz, Schwab & Lipowitz, LLC. congratulate Firm Partner Paul Schwab on being elected President of the Baltimore County Public Library (BCPL) Board of Trustees. Mr. Schwab had been serving as Vice President since January, 2015.  He was appointed to the Board by Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz on July 1, 2014.

The BCPL Board of Trustees consists of seven members, who support the BCPL Executive Director by planning, developing and supervising initiatives that continue to improve the Library and the surrounding Baltimore County community. The BCPL has 19 branches and provides valuable services to families, businesses, students, schools and residents throughout the Baltimore area.  In his position as President of the Board, Mr. Schwab intends to work to further BCPL’s mission of connecting the diverse Baltimore County community with innovative, quality services that empower, inspire, and inform its residents.

Mr. Schwab assists clients on legal matters related to family wealth planning and preservation, estate and trust administration, business formation, contracts and other transactions and real estate matters.  He has also presented seminars to lawyers and others on a variety of topics, including wealth preservation, business formation and estate matters affecting wrongful death cases.
