A Baltimore County jury awarded an AFSL client over $60,000 against a title insurer in a recent trial.  The jury found that the title company failed to cure title defects in a home that the client and her late spouse had purchased.

Jon Azrael represented the Plaintiff.  The Defendant title company had denied all liability, contending that the losses claimed by AFSL’s client were excluded by its title policy.

The jury disagreed and awarded 100% of the damages sought by AFSL’s client. “It was a sweet victory”, Jon Azrael said. “But even sweeter was the email my client sent me the next day.  She wrote: “Jon, I just want to thank you for everything . You have been so kind and patient and understanding to me. You are an amazing man and one hell of an attorney.”
