AFSL Serves Up Some Love on Valentine’s Day at the Ronald McDonald House in Baltimore

Every year, AFSL sponsors, cooks, and serves a dinner for the children and the families staying at the the Ronald McDonald House of Baltimore on Valentine’s Day. It has been a volunteer opportunity the firm has been proud to participate in every year.

This year, the severe winter storm Pax caused most of Maryland to be declared in a state of emergency.  Despite the record snowfall and the commute from Towson into Baltimore, Keith, Denise, Sundae, and Janet braved the snow and drove to the Ronald McDonald House on Friday to volunteer.

“Our only concern was getting to the House on Friday in the snow so we didn’t disappoint the kids and their families!” Denise Naylor said when asked about the dangerous conditions and snow.

The firm is looking forward to volunteering in milder conditions when they host the Annual Luau for the Ronald McDonald House in August.
