Jud manages the Azrael Franz Complex Injury/Wrongful Death practice area that includes cases related to insurance law and serious automobile accidents and airplane crashes, as well as products liability and professional medical malpractice related injuries. Jud took a lead role in multi-district litigation related to the crash of Delta Connection Flight 7529, and numerous additinal aviation crash litigation and his efforts were instrumental in achieving historic results for the Azrael Franz clients.

Jud also represents clients in a wide variety of business transactions. In particular, Jud has successfully negotiated mergers and acquisitions for many health care professionals and other businesses on the local and national level.

Jud is Past President of the Northern Maryland Chapter of MADD and has lectured and appeared on radio & television shows regarding the dangers of drinking and driving. In connection with the Azrael Franz continuing commitment to injury victims, Azrael Franz has not represented drunk drivers in criminal proceedings for the past 30 years.
